Cardiovascular disease/cerebrovascular disease

  • Congenital heart disease
  • Ischaemic heart disease
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Rheumatic heart disease
  • Coronary artery disease
  • Angina
  • Heart attack
  • Stroke
  • Or other heart condition and cerebrovascular disease

Chronic respiratory disease

  • Asthma if on a regular preventative treatment
  • Emphysema
  • Chronic obstructive airways disease
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Chronic bronchitis
  • Other chronic repiratory disease with impaired lung function

 

Diabetes

  • Type I and Type II diabetes

 

Cancer

  • Cancer (current) excluding basal and squamous skin cancers if not invasive

 

Other conditions

  • Autoimmune disease
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Children on long-term aspirin
  • Chronic renal disease
  • Congenital myopathy
  • Epilepsy
  • Haemaglobinopathies
  • uman immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection
  • Hydrocephaly
  • Immune suppression
  • Motor Neuron disease
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Myasthenia gravis

On top of this, everyone over the age of 65 years of age are also eligible for a free vaccination.
