Influenza (flu) vaccination

The influenza vaccine will be available again from approximately March 2012.

Pharmacy 547 are able to offer the seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine onsite.

It is available from Monday to Friday from 8am till at least 3.30pm from now until the end of June.

If you are usually eligble for a free vaccine from you general practice then the same rules apply to receiving a vaccination from Pharmacy 547.

For a full list of conditions which are eligible for a free vaccine please click here. For all patients who are not eligble for a free vaccine then a small charge of $20 will get you protection from the strains of influenza included in this years vaccine (including H1N1 or 'Swine flu').

All patients who receive the influenza vaccine are required to remain in the pharmacy for 20 minutes following the injection to ensure no reactions occur.
